MRI Cooling

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) machines rely on superconducting magnets to generate powerful magnetic fields for detailed medical imaging. These magnets must be cooled to extremely low temperatures to maintain superconductivity, ensuring precise and stable imaging performance. Liquid helium (He), with its ultra-low boiling point of -269°C (-452°F), is the primary cooling agent used in MRI systems.
